Susumu Endo
Printmaker, Graphic designer.
Established the poetic and solid vision of the world about nature,
And lead new possibilities for digital print art by using offset lithography.
His artworks have received awards around the world such as Germany, Yugoslavia, Bulgaria and Finland, and are owned by many museums includes The British Museum and Museum of Art of São Paulo Assis Chateaubriand.

1960 Dropped out of Design Course, Musashino Art University
1962 Graduate from Kuwasawa Design School
1983 Awarded the Top prize at Gregor International Calendar Award
1984 Awarded the Prize at National Museum of Modern Art, Kyoto
1990 Solo Exhibition at Yamanashi Prefectural Museum of Art
1990 Awarded the Grand-Prix at the Bhavan International Biennial of Prints, India
1992 Awarded the Exhibition Prize at the International Print Exhibition, INTERPRINT ’92, Ukraine
1993 First Prize for Satirical Graphic Works at GABROVO’93
1994 Special Prize at the International Triennial of Graphic Art, Cracow, Poland
1998 Awarded the Medal with Purple Ribbon Award for his achievements
